Whether you choose a chain link fence or a wooden fence, you can easily train vining plants to attach. Make sure your wooden or metal fence is secure and will be able to handle the weight of the plants as they grow.

Watch the video to see how easy it is to train vines to crawl up a wooden fence. Drill a few hooks throughout the fence, and then string wire between the hooks. Next, prepare your soil and plant the correct vining plants close to the fence. If you already have vines available, then loosely wrap them around the wires you have strung up. As the vines grow, make sure they are secured against the wire and fence.
